Saw Carl several times in 1970 when he toured with Johnny Cash. I had the privilege of sitting down and visiting with Carl for about 20 minutes at one of the shows (I was a DJ then). Great guy and a solid entertainer!- like Carl Perkins version of blue suede shoes better than Elvis.
