MUSICA SURF- ROCK- AÑOS 60'S- SURF- ROCK
cuerdas arriba y abajo. El sencillo de
Dale and the Del-Tones «Let's Go

This song is the first surf instrument. It was released as a single, on
Dick Dale's debut album, and on The Best of Dick Dale & His Del-Tones.
What did trippin mean when he wrote the song?- An adjective meaning cool, freaky, groovy, amazing, or all of the above, depending on the
context in which it's used.- Anything that is progressive
for the youth of that generation involving fun.- It's amazing how much songs
can communicate without a single word.
Dick Dale exploded onto the
local, Southern California beach scene in 1961, filling a 3,000 person ballroom
to capacity, at every show for 6 months and single handedly creating the Surf Music
genre. He also helped Leo Fender develop the first ever 100 watt guitar
amplifier, after blowing up several of Fender's amps. From 61-63 Dale's music
was, Bad, Bitchin, Boss. Choice, Cool, Neat, Gone, Outta Sight, Tuff and Wicked

Ennio Morricone's 'Spaghetti' Western guitar sound!
Dick Dale, "King of the Surf Guitar", follows his galloping take on "Riders In the Sky" with the more majesterial flamenco licks and strings of this unsung classic. No wonder Tarantino saw the kinship between Dale and Morricone when he chose "Miserlou" for PULP Fiction.------------
