For
those who don't know this art, it's an ottoman art called "Ebru",
which is very widespread in Turkey. All of the materials we use are made by
natural products. We mixe the water with "kitre", which is a natural
gum (tragacanth in english, I think?) obtained from the dried sap of a plant
grows in middle and eastern regions of Turkey. When we've mixed it, we have to
let it stand few hours. The handle of the brush is made of branch of rosebush
(cause rose has always been a very important plant in islam and islamic art, it
represents the prophet Mohammad, like the tulip which reprensents Allah). The
bristle is made of ponytail because it absorbs the paint better and drop it
quicker than other materials. The paints are made of soil for pale or natural
colours like white, brown, etc. and made of plant pigments for the other
colours. We add water to the paint (just a little) and gall liquid, obtained
from cows (the quantity of gall is really really important, and we don't put
the same quantity of gall to each bottle of paint). The preparation of the
water (kitre) and of the paints are really important , we prepare it by

not to offend you or make you sad, I would just like to state that it came to
Turkey far later than when it appeared in China. In Islamic world, it appeared
only in the 15th Century whereas in China, it dates back to 957–995 CE, almost
500 years before you guys.

A
unique tv documentary of the life and the works of Vincent van Gogh. For 60
minutes we are travelling with Vincent in a geographical reconstruction of his
life. The documentary shows beautiful pictures of which Van Gogh has drawn his
inspiration for his works. A lot of the buildings still exist. Trough modern
digital techniques the current image changes into the painting that was made by
Van Gogh for over 100 years ago. The documentary begins in the basement of a
museum in Mons, where they keep the first professional work of Vincent and ends
in Auvers sur Oisewhere Van Gogh has been buried.

Impresionante y muy triste tanta
grandeza de Espíritu y generosidad de Theo su gran hermano para la
eternidad juntos para siempre cuando
visite sus tumbas las dos veces tenían girasoles preciosos en las dos tumbas te salen las
lágrimas.

rojo, en España, y Sed de vivir, en Hispanoamérica) es una película
estadounidense de 1956 con guion de Norman Corwin,
basado en la novela homónima de
1934 escrita por Irving Stone.
La película fue dirigida por
Vincente Minnelli, y contó con la actuación de Kirk Douglas, Anthony Quinn,
James Donald, Pamela Brown, Jill Bennett, Everett Sloane y Henry Daniell.
La película va narrando las
tribulaciones de Vincent Van Gogh desde sus iniciales tanteos con la
predicación religiosa en las pobres regiones mineras de Bélgica hasta su
contacto con los innovadores pintores impresionistas ubicados en París, pasando
por sus primerizos contactos con la pintura en su país natal (en la cual
dibujaba a los campesinos realizando la tareas más cotidianas); sus inestables
relaciones amorosas y amistosas, y el vínculo afectivo más importante que
mantuvo en su azarosa existencia, su hermano Theo, familiar que le ayudó
durante toda su vida tanto como apoyo emocional, y como sustento económico para
que Vincent pudiera sobrevivir en el lugar donde estuviese, fuese Holanda,
Arlés o París.
En
tales lugares procuró desarrollar su genio pictórico en contacto con otros
artistas (Seurat, Monet, Pissarro o su mejor amigo: Paul Gauguin, interpretado
por Anthony Quinn, que sería premiado con el premio Óscar al mejor actor de
reparto) y con su mejor influencia: los fenómenos naturales, la luz, el sol, el
viento y las estrellas. Todo ello expresado con su vigorizante sentido del
color y su trazo grueso y ondulante.
